Living Forest is a competitive strategy board game where players take on the role of nature spirits protecting a sacred forest from the destructive flames of Onibi. Each turn, you recruit animal guardians that provide resources and abilities. Building an effective team is key, but some guardians are solitary and can disrupt your plans if too many appear together. You'll need to balance risk and reward as you decide how far to push your luck each round. There are three different paths to victory: Plant 12 different Protective Trees. Collect 12 Sacred Flowers to awaken Sanki, the Great Guardian of the Forest. Extinguish 12 Fires to drive Onibi away permanently. The game combines deck-building, push-your-luck, and resource management mechanics, with multiple strategies available each game.
