Tricky Traders is a clever board game of strategy, deception, and market manipulation. The marketplace is alive with customers and colorful stalls, but beneath the surface, two rival trade guilds are locked in a battle for influence. Each player secretly supports one market stall — working to make it thrive — while simultaneously sabotaging another to drag its reputation through the mud. Over the course of three market days, divided into Morning, Noon, and Evening, players use Influence cards to sway customers, attract allies, or unleash pests to wreak havoc. Every decision changes the balance of power in the market, and at the end of each day, stalls gain or lose fame based on the chaos that unfolds. After the final day, only the player who has best concealed their motives and manipulated the market to perfection will emerge victorious.
